There is no cookie banner on this site because, as it currently stands, there is nothing to consent to.

What we set

  • A session identifier in your browser’s session storage — not a cookie — which is deleted when you close the tab. It is a random string used to group one visit’s searches together and contains nothing about you.
  • An authentication cookie, but only on the admin area, and only for a signed-in administrator. It is never set for ordinary visitors.

What we do not set

No advertising cookies, no third-party tracking pixels, no social media trackers, and no analytics cookie that identifies you. Our page analytics is aggregate and cookieless.

Cookies set by other people

When you follow a booking link, the affiliate network and the booking site set their own cookies on their own domains so that a booking can be attributed to us. Those are governed by their policies, not this one, and they are set only once you choose to follow a commercial link. What this means for your booking is explained on our affiliate disclosure page.

If this changes

If we later add analytics or advertising that requires consent, a consent banner will appear before anything is set, and this page will be updated to say exactly what it does.
