Chalet Jacques

Chalet Jacques is a catered chalet in Courchevel, sleeping 10. It is ski-in/ski-out, so skis go on at the door and the day ends without a walk in boots — with a group at Christmas, that matters more than almost anything else on a brochure. Cots and family rooms are available, which is the detail that decides it for anyone travelling with small children. Skiworld class this one as a luxury property — their classification, not ours. It has a hot tub and a sauna. In the last week of December the afternoons are short and everybody comes in cold, which is when an outdoor hot tub stops being a luxury and starts being the best thing in the resort.

10 beds suits a large family Christmas or two families travelling together. Being catered, nobody spends Christmas Day in the kitchen, which is the single strongest argument for a chalet over an apartment in this particular week.

Bed configuration is the thing most worth checking directly with the operator — how a chalet divides its beds matters more at Christmas than the headline number.

Chalet Jacques is in the centre of Courchevel. The usual arrival airports for Courchevel are Geneva (GVA), Lyon (LYS), Chambéry (CMF). We do not publish transfer times, because they swing widely with traffic and road conditions on a Saturday in Christmas week.

Christmas week 2027 runs 18 Dec – 25 Dec 2027 — the Saturday-to-Saturday changeover most Alpine chalets work to, with Christmas Day falling mid-week.
